There has been great interest in tamper resistant packaging ever since 1982 when someone went to random drug stores in the Chicago area and filled Tylenol capsules with cyanide poison. It is believed that it was part of a scheme to extort money from the manufacturer, Johnson and Johnson. Seven people died as a result of this tampering. Police believed they caught the man who did it, James William Lewis, but they were never able to prove it. Williams was convicted of extortion for sending letters to Johnson and Johnson but he was never convicted of the actual murders.
There are basically two ways of tamper proofing bottles. One way is to place a laminate film under the cap and seal it with electrical induction. The other is to apply shrink film over the cap. We have many of both types of machines for sale on our site
